In Namaa Bay, particularly in the “Gold Sharm” area, it feels like a ghost town. Many residents have moved away, leaving behind the “street cats,” and there are quite a few of them. Our animal friends in Sharm estimate there are around 80 cats in the Gold Sharm area. It is absolutely necessary to neuter and vaccinate these cats to give them any chance of survival.
Since this process is costly and we need to act quickly, we will divide the 80 cats into 4 smaller projects, allowing us to begin neutering and vaccinating as soon as possible to prevent the uncontrollable population growth.
Here are the first 20 cats that have been vaccinated and neutered.
