Two young female dogs in the area of Naama Bay / Hadaba / Hay El Nour were selected for spaying and vaccination.
Possibly, an older male might follow – as Laura humorously puts it, she still needs to “check under his shorts.”
Laura took over this project, catching the dogs herself, bringing them to the vet clinic, and returning them to their territory afterward.
Because these dogs live closely among people, no blowpipe anesthesia was needed.
Step by step we move forward:
So far, 93 dogs and 40 cats have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated through our organization.
We’d say: let’s keep going – for a peaceful and humane coexistence in Sharm El Sheikh.
Note: This project was never fully completed and has therefore been removed from our program.
