For a long time, street dogs in this area had been a significant issue. Every mating season resulted in intense fights with other dogs in the neighborhood. Many residential complexes had complained about the loud dogs. Unfortunately, this pack was very shy around humans, making it difficult to catch them.
Our volunteers fed the dogs to build their trust, but we had to use the “blow-pipe” to sedate them before we could take them to the veterinary clinic.
The dogs were at high risk of poisoning, as some people in the area were annoyed by them. Now that all the dogs are neutered, they remain in the area where we provide them with daily food and water, and no longer fight. This pack can now live a peaceful life with much less danger.
