Sharks Bay with Sunshine Divers Club
As always, it was a fantastic day, even though it started with a few challenges. A special thank you goes to Lobna, who gave her best on behalf of Ras Mohammed National Park. Another big thank you to the Coast Guard for finally granting us the permission for the clean-up.
A huge thank you to Captain Ahmed, the manager of Sunshine Divers Club. He is truly an amazing person and, together with his team, offered help wherever they could.
Today, 21 members of The Path to Humanity were involved – 12 in the water, 8 on land, and 1 behind the camera. I would like to mention our loyal participants by name because it is thanks to them that we collected around 388 kilos of trash. This brings us to an impressive total of 1,868 kilos of trash!
The biggest thanks go to you:
Our divers: Dive guide Amy, Abbody, Mary, Didier, Andrea, Mark, Vanessa, Lucia, Trashy, Coco, Trashy II, Steven, and Antonio.
At our stand: Sofia and Doro.
Clean-up on land: Ilona, Phil, Rebecca, Ulrich, Brigitte, and Yasmine.
Our videographer: Mary (also a diver).
After all the hard work, Amy treated us to a birthday cake, drinks, and snacks.
So, on behalf of everyone: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMY!
Here’s to many more – for our ENVIRONMENT!
