19.05.2025 – Biggest Clean Up – Sharm El Sheikh – Landmark Harbor
What a day!
During the large Clean-Up at the Landmark Harbor yesterday, we were able to collect over 5,200 kilos of waste from the sea and the land together with around 150 participants.
300 trash bags were filled – and an additional 200 plastic gallons (19 liters each) were collected.
The atmosphere was sensational – carried by genuine motivation, team spirit, and the shared desire to protect our environment.
At the end, Deputy Governor Dr. Enas Samir expressed her congratulations to all participants.
This was followed by a contribution from Dr. Adel Taher from the Hyperbaric Chamber – and finally, our director Yasmine Hémès spoke, who made it clear to all participants that they – and no one else – are the driving force behind this Clean-Up.
Afterwards, each participant received a certificate of participation and a bracelet with the date – as a reminder of this unforgettable day: May 19, 2025.
It is uplifting to see how around 150 people went home with a smile and the awareness that they can make a difference – and that they already have.
We sincerely thank all participants, sponsors, and tireless cleaners for their great effort and commitment.
