Let us introduce Ronja. This young female dog was found badly injured in Rowisette – thankfully, someone reported her condition to one of the local animal rescuers.
We were asked if we could help – and of course, the answer was yes.
Ronja was easy to get into the car and was immediately taken to the veterinary clinic.
Luckily, nothing was broken, but she had deep cuts reaching up to her eye.
The wound was infected, and her body was covered in ticks.
She received treatment – her wounds were stitched, she was cared for, de-ticked, vaccinated, and after a few days of rest, she was also spayed.
Special thanks go to Heike (pickup), Luca (reporting the case), and Noa (help during transport).
The total cost for Ronja’s treatment was €50 – many thanks to all who donated and made this care possible.
Rasha from the clinic took wonderful care of her and kept us updated throughout.
The project is now complete: Ronja has recovered fully, was vaccinated and spayed – and has been safely released back into her familiar territory.
Please note: Any donations that exceed the cost of a project are automatically used for the next case – every bit of support makes a difference.
